5 Tips to Ready Your Roof for Spring
March 13, 2020How to Get a Roof Repair in San Antonio
May 11, 2020With the constant change in news around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to ensure our customers know that Norwest Roofing remains committed to them and to the health of our community. We are sharing information on measures we are taking to make sure that roofing services are implemented safely during this time.
1 – We are adhering to recommendations from the CDC and WHO.
As a company that often requires customer interaction, we are following the recommended workplace best practices suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). This includes the practice of social distancing to stay at least 6ft away at all times and practicing proper sanitation of all equipment being used.
Jobs are using the minimal number of people required to ensure fewer workers around job sites. We are also handling all communication with customers by phone as to avoid physical interaction.
2 – We are also adhering to government regulations to ensure we continue to operate safely and in compliance.
In attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19, local government has issued stay at home orders, limiting business to essential services. As a roofing service, which often requires immediate attention, we continue to provide regular and needed service to our customers.
However, we are continuing to monitor recommendations made by our local, state and federal government officials to make sure that we are still operating appropriately in accordance with the law. The safety of our customers and staff remain our highest priority during this time.
3 – We have put procedures into place to continue service, while also slowing the spread of COVID-19.
Our company is completely aware and conscious of safety protocol when it comes to interacting with our customers. This is why we are practicing “touch-free” services which includes no in-person contact with customers. When we are scheduled to perform roofing services at your home, here is what you can expect:
- Customers receive a phone call that we are on the way to the property.
- Once we arrive, we will alert you that we have arrived, but will not engage in our usual door knock and hand shake interaction.
- Contractors will practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6ft distance from each other at all times while working on your roof.
- We will then call you once more to notify you that work is completed, or if we will need to return another day.
- Service summary and invoices will be emailed as usual.
We understand that while these measures are not always ideal, especially when you’re a company that values relationship with its customers, they are necessary to help slow the spread of COVID-19. With that being said, we remain committed to you and your family and will continue serving you as needed.
